Müller’s Post-Game Shenanigans Leave TV Host Amused and Bewildered
Munich, Germany – Bayern munich cruised too a resounding 5-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League action, leaving the German giants in high spirits. Star forward Thomas Müller, filling in for the injured Harry Kane, contributed a goal to the rout and continued his playful antics off the pitch.
Following the match, Müller joined Amazon Prime Video for a post-game interview. After fielding questions about his own performance, he playfully decided to stick around and “translate” for his coach, Bayern Munich's account within the German Cup”>Vincent Kompany.
When moderator Alexander Schlüter asked Kompany about the team’s future direction, the Belgian coach seemed momentarily confused. ”Which journey?” he asked.
Müller, ever the jokester, quipped, ”The journey home,” further bewildering Kompany.
“My German humor isn’t quite there yet, but it will come,” Kompany responded with a chuckle.
Undeterred, Müller attempted another translation. “That was a very deep question,” he said, playfully mocking schlüter’s inquiry.”He wants to know if we want to win the Champions League, and yes, we do, but it’s a long road ahead.”
Schlüter, with a twinkle in his eye, retorted, “Mr.Müller, if you have better questions, feel free to ask!”
but Müller couldn’t resist another playful jab. As Schlüter posed his next question, Müller whispered something to fellow pundit Christoph kramer, eliciting a mischievous grin.Schlüter,catching Müller’s antics,turned to him and said,”If you’re going to critique every question I ask…”
Müller, understanding the message, quickly handed over the microphone and disappeared down the tunnel with a playful “okay, okay.”
Even after the interview with Kompany concluded,Schlüter couldn’t help but poke fun at Müller’s antics. “It’s surprising Müller didn’t take his microphone into the shower with him,” he quipped.
