Thomas (Tom) smyth, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19th, at South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen. Surrounded by his loving family, Tom’s passing marks the end of a life rich in love, connection, and cherished memories.
A Devoted Family Man
Tom was the dearly beloved husband of Annie, and a devoted father to Mary (Shane Maguire), Fiona (Sean Rafferty), Ciaran, and Aidan. His love extended to his treasured grandchildren, Bláthnaid, Eimear, and Erin Rose, who brought immense joy into his life. He was also a dear brother to Annemarie (seamus Murray, RIP), Pat RIP (Rosie), Gerry (mary-Jane), Bernadette (Jim), Eamon (Bernie), Teresa (Sean Sweeney, RIP), and Colette. Tom was predeceased by his parents, a brother, brothers-in-law, and nephew James, leaving behind a legacy of strong family bonds.
Funeral Arrangements and Tributes
Tom’s family will receive friends at Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Home, Brookebrough Road, Lisnaskea, on Sunday from 4 pm, with prayers concluding at 8 pm. He will then repose at his home on Monday,july 21st,from 2 pm to 8 pm,with family time requested at all other times.
The funeral cortege will depart from his home on Tuesday morning at 10:30 am, arriving at St Tierney’s church, Roslea, for the funeral mass at 11 am.Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, Tom’s funeral mass will be live-streamed at www.churchservices.tv/roslea.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice. Car parking will be available at Roslea Shamrocks GAA complex.
