Over 40,000 People Participate in the 4th Zhejiang Women’s Fitness Competition
The 4th Zhejiang Women’s Fitness Competition, which lasted nearly half a year, came to an end at the Linhai Sports Center in Taizhou on September 7. From April to September, more than 40,000 people participated in three series of events, 18 theme events, and seven “sports +” special activities.
This year’s competition takes “Fitness shows heroism, women show their elegance” as its core theme, and carefully arranges a total of 18 events such as pickleball, swimming, yoga, and badminton, which fully meet the fitness needs and dreams of women of different ages and interests. The competition innovatively incorporates seven “sports +” special activities such as the “dopamine” market and the “Trumpet Creeper Bloom” public welfare project, which not only promotes the deep integration of sports and multiculturalism but also achieves a win-win situation of economic and social benefits.
The competition has successfully created a landmark IP for Zhejiang women’s national fitness, which not only enriched the content of the competition but also promoted the deep integration of sports with multiple fields and built a new ecology of sports consumption. At the closing ceremony, Taizhou-born Olympic athlete and gymnastics world champion Zhang Qingying led five professional women from various industries to jointly release the women’s fitness declaration “Her Power, Brilliant Bloom”. The series of short films “Meet the Beauty of Fitness” allows the audience to relive those exciting moments of the competition and witness the extraordinary style and indomitable sportsmanship of female athletes who are fearless of challenges and dare to break through.
The successful holding of this competition will encourage more women to join the ranks of sports and fitness and pursue a healthy and beautiful life. It will also provide valuable experience for the development of women’s sports events in the future and promote the development of cultural and sports undertakings. Mao Genhong, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau, said that this is a vivid portrayal of the vigorous development of Zhejiang’s mass sports undertakings and a strong proof that the concept of national fitness has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
The next Zhejiang Women’s Fitness Competition will be held in Huzhou in four years.
