Community Gathers for Vigil Following South Philadelphia Crash
Hood was killed in a vehicle collision on Friday along Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia. Several other teenagers were also involved in the crash and sustained injuries. Pennsylvania State Police are actively investigating the underlying cause of the collision.
We appreciate it,
said Kaleshia Hood, the victim’s godmother, as reported by CBS News. We weren’t expecting so many people.
Attendees spoke about Hood’s constant smile and vibrant personality. She was the life of the party,
a family member told CBS News during the vigil. She was everything.
Another relative urged the community to keep the teenager’s memory alive and keep making her proud.
