The Oklahoma City Thunder NBA championship parade marked the franchise’s first title since relocating to Oklahoma.
Despite temperatures nearing 100 degrees, thousands of fans packed the streets of Midtown to celebrate the Thunder’s NBA championship. gilgeous-Alexander, initially sporting a white tank top and a Canadian flag tied around his waist, made sure fans got a close look at the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.
Lu Dort and Chet Holmgren added to the revelry, showering the crowd with champagne from a double-decker bus and a golf cart. The heat index reached 101 degrees, but the enthusiasm remained undeterred.
