Marvel’s Thunderbolts: First Trailer Released, Featuring Star-Studded Cast

The latest episode of Marvel MCU’s sixth phase, the highly anticipated movie “Thunderbolts,” is scheduled to be officially released in 2025. Today, the first movie trailer is released, giving fans a glimpse into the villain-based “Thunder Squad.”

In the trailer, we can see the main members of the “Thunder Squad” include “New Black Widow Yelena Belova” Florence Pugh, “Winter Soldier” Sebastian Stan, “US Agent” Wyatt Russell, “Ghost” Hannah John-Kamen, “Taskmaster” Olga Kurylenko, “Red Guardian” David Harbor, and “Countess Valentina” Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who are responsible for recruiting members. The most surprising addition to the team is “Sentry,” considered by many to be Marvel’s strongest hero, making his debut. This character was originally rumored to be played by Steven Yeun, but was later played by Lewis Pullman.

The soundtrack of this trailer uses the Pixies’ classic song “Where Is My Mind?”, which is also the most representative theme song of “Fight Club.” The film is directed by Jake Schreier and written by Kurt Busiek, Joanna Calo, and Lee Sung Jin. It is expected to be released in Taiwan on April 30, 2025, and in North America in May.
