Tianma Reports Strong first-Half 2025 Results, Driven by AMOLED Growth
China-based display manufacturer Tianma announced its financial results for the first half of 2025 on August 27, 2025, demonstrating a notable turnaround from the previous year. The company reported revenues of 17.5 billion yuan (approximately $2.4 billion USD based on current exchange rates), a nearly 10% increase compared to the first half of 2024.
This revenue growth translated into a net profit of 206 million yuan ($28.7 million USD), a substantial improvement from the net loss of approximately 500 million yuan experienced during the same period in 2024.

According to Tianma, profits from its Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode (AMOLED) business surged by over 50% year-over-year.This growth is attributed to both increased sales volume and expanded production capacity, signaling a strengthening position in the competitive OLED market.
Beyond OLEDs, Tianma is also actively investing in next-generation display technologies. The company confirmed ongoing progress in its microLED research and development projects, indicating a commitment to diversifying its portfolio and exploring future display solutions.
