Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado College men’s basketball team snapped a five-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Thursday night, defeating Hardin-Simmons University 95-76 at Reid Arena. The Tigers’ offensive explosion was fueled by a season-high 15 three-pointers and a dominant performance from Asher Nofziger.nofziger secured his third double-double of the season, pouring in 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Scott Ruegg added 16 points, while Ty Hendler chipped in 13, helping CC reach a season-high point total.

“Our defense was really locked in tonight,” said Head Coach Jeff Conarroe. “We made it tough for them to get good looks and that allowed us to get out in transition and score.”
The tigers maintained their momentum in the second half, extending their lead to as many as 29 points. They sealed the victory by converting 15 of their last 17 free throws, including four straight by Ruegg after a technical foul was called on hardin-Simmons coach matt Brackett.
With the win, Colorado College improves to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers will look to build on this momentum as they continue their home stand against Willamette University on Saturday.

colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado College Tigers delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday night, dismantling Hardin-Simmons university 84-67 at Reid arena. The Tigers shot lights out, achieving season-high shooting percentages of 53.6 percent (30-56) from the field and a blistering 62.5 percent (15-24) from three-point range.
“We were really clicking offensively tonight,” said head coach jeff Conarroe.”The guys moved the ball well and found open shots. It was a great team effort.”
The Tigers’ hot shooting continued throughout the game,particularly in the second half where they connected on 7 of 10 three-point attempts. The 62.5% three-point percentage marks the highest in the Jeff Conarroe era at CC.
