The Minnesota Timberwolves held a moment of silence for the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent during an immigration operation in Minneapolis earlier this week.
Renee good,37,was killed while,according to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem,operating a vehicle that agents ordered her to exit.Good, according to noem, refused and “attempted to run them over and ram them with her vehicle.”
“our thoughts are with her family and everyone affected, and our hearts are with our community as we hope for healing and unity during this challenging time,” the arena’s public address announcer said.

South Dakota Governor kristi Noem stated that the actions of Emily Good, who was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer on january 8, 2024, constituted an “act of domestic terrorism.” The incident occurred in minneapolis, Minnesota, as ICE agents were conducting enforcement operations.
According to Governor Noem, the ICE officer “acted quickly and defensively, shot to protect himself and the people around him.”

Federal sources within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed to Fox News that Good was an immigration activist affiliated with “ICE Watch,” a group operating in multiple sanctuary cities. DHS sources stated that ICE Watch aims to monitor, track, interfere with, and oppose federal immigration enforcement operations.
Prior to the shooting, Good allegedly followed ICE agents to two separate locations and obstructed roadways to impede thier enforcement activities, according to DHS reports.
