CITIZEN Series 8 880: A Cutting-Edge Design for Men

CITIZEN has revealed a new limited edition watch series, the Series 8 880, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its first watch. This cutting-edge design for men combines practicality and functionality with a modern aesthetic, reflecting the brand’s slogan “Better Starts Now.” Only 2,200 pieces will be produced worldwide, priced at 78,500 baht.

The Series 8 880 features a meticulously crafted dial inspired by mother-of-pearl with blue gradation, paired with a two-tone steel strap and case in gray and blue. The watch boasts a luxurious and seamless connection between the strap and case, as well as a GMT function, showing two time zones. The dial is reinforced with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating, allowing it to withstand depths of up to 100 meters.

This limited edition watch also features a magnetism-resistant mechanism to maintain accuracy, reducing the impact of magnetic fields generated by smartphones and tablets. The Series 8 880 boasts an average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds and a working time of up to 50 hours. The transparent back cover reveals the movement of the watch.

CITIZEN L has unveiled the limited edition ROUND collection women’s watch, Layers of Time, to celebrate the brand’s century-long journey. This luxury diamond-decorated design features a dial inspired by the overlapping layers of rocks and minerals, forming a beautiful natural layer of color.
