Time’s Running Out: Government Cracks Down on Higher Education and Technical Facilities to Meet Contractual Deadlines
Mauritanian Government Emphasizes Adherence to Contractual Deadlines and Quality Standards in Higher Education
The Mauritanian government has urged institutions responsible for operating higher education and technical facilities in Nouakchott to adhere to contractual deadlines and respect quality standards.
During a recent visit to several facilities, the Minister of Housing, Urbanism and Land Reclamation emphasized the importance of meeting these standards. The visited institutions included the National School of Administration, Journalism and Judiciary, the Vocational and Technical Training School in the fields of energy, oil and gas, the Advanced Trade School, and the Advanced Digitization Institute.
The minister highlighted the significance of participating in the special distribution system in institutions, which is a “binding legal system for the submission of tender proposals.” This system allows for the presence of qualified companies with the ability to implement the projects entrusted to them, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
