Actor Timothy Busfield Charged with Sexual Assault
Actor Timothy Busfield faces two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Albuquerque Police Department on January 10, 2026.
Albuquerque Police Officer Marvin Brown’s affidavit details an investigation into alleged sexual abuse involving two boys while on the set of the television series The Cleaning Lady, where busfield worked as a director.
One of the alleged victims told an interviewer that Busfield first made unwanted contact with him when he was seven years old,while on set. He also described a second incident occurring when he was eight years old, also on set.
