Timothy “Tim” Johnson of Xenia, Ohio | Obituary – Brown Funeral Home

Xenia, Ohio – Timothy Charles “Tim” Johnson, a longtime resident of the Xenia area, passed away on , at Hospice of Dayton, Ohio. He was 64 years old.

Born on , in Xenia, Tim was the son of the late Charles Joseph and Ruth Ann (Swaney) Johnson. He spent several years working at Pitt Stop Tire in Xenia, becoming a familiar face in the community.

Those who knew Tim remember him as a generous and helpful man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He possessed a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, frequently enjoying rides and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Fishing, particularly catfishing, was another beloved pastime, offering him moments of peace and connection with nature.

Tim took immense pride in his mechanical skills and dedicated time to restoring a Chevy Cheyenne Pick-Up, transforming it into a striking hot-rod. The vehicle represented not just a project, but a tangible connection to his past and a testament to his dedication.

Above all, family was central to Tim’s life. He cherished his wife, Katherine J. (Parks) Johnson, whom he married on , in Xenia. He also found joy in the company of his daughter, Ashlee (Thomas) Hise, and his son, Tommy Johnson, both of Xenia. His six grandchildren – Kaden, Kaleb, Cohen, Addison, Trentin, and Ada – brought immense happiness to his life.

Tim is survived by his wife, Katherine. his daughter, Ashlee; his son, Tommy; his grandchildren; and his sisters, Lora Everhart of Spring Valley, Rebecca Darnell of Xenia, and Amy (Kurt) Spencer of Xenia. He is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Timothy Joseph Johnson.

A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held on , from 5:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. At the Xenia Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 682 West Second Street, Xenia, Ohio .
