From⁣ Tinder to⁢ “I Do”

Sometimes, fate needs ⁤a little nudge from technology. For Rachel Harrington and Dave O’farrell, their love story began not with a chance encounter, but with a swipe⁤ right. Though Dave frist noticed Rachel during a night out at Reardens in Cork city, it wasn’t until they connected on Tinder that their connection truly blossomed. “We⁣ then went on our first date, and⁤ that ‍was it from ther,” rachel shared.

Today, the couple ⁢reside in Whitechurch with their three-year-old daughter, Mollie, who⁣ has quickly become the centre of ⁢their world.

A Killarney proposal

In May 2022, Dave orchestrated a lovely proposal during a family getaway⁢ to Killarney. While⁤ visiting Muckross Customary Farms with rachel and young Mollie, he found the perfect moment. “When we were walking down by the school, Dave told me to stand ⁤there⁣ with Mollie, and he would take our picture,” Rachel recalled. “It was there he popped the question with our daughter in my arms and the mountains behind me. It was beautiful, just the three⁢ of us.”

A Blarney Celebration

On May 30th, rachel and ‍Dave exchanged vows at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Blarney. ⁤The day was⁣ filled with joy ‍and surrounded by loved ones.”we were very lucky to have all our close family and friends with us on ⁤that day. The atmosphere was amazing all day long.We cannot thank them ⁢enough,” Rachel expressed.The couple acknowledged the presence of loved ones who could not be there, remembering Dave’s father, Dave, and‍ Rachel’s grandfather, Tom.

A Bridal ⁢Party Filled with Love

The bridal party was a testament to the couple’s close relationships. Mollie and her goddaughter,⁤ Lily, served as ‍flower girls. Michelle brown, Lily’s⁣ mother and Mollie’s godmother, was Rachel’s chief bridesmaid,⁤ a lifelong friend by ⁤her side. Rachel’s⁢ cousin, Jennifer Fitzgerald, also ⁢served as⁣ a bridesmaid, described as a friend as much ⁢as family. Dave’s nephew, Cillian, and his childhood friend’s son,‍ Jaymie, were the adorable page boys
