Man Missing After Tinley Park Concert Found Dead near I-80

A suburban Chicago man, Timothy Fogt, 50, who disappeared following a concert at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park Saturday, was found dead, according to authorities and family reports. The Tinley Park Public Safety department had issued an alert for Fogt, last seen around 11 p.m.Saturday leaving the venue, where Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Beach Weather performed. He was wearing a black jacket and white Live Nation T-shirt.
The department later canceled the alert, stating Fogt had been located and asking the public to keep his family in their thoughts. Fogt’s daughter confirmed on social media that her father was “deceased.”
While details remain scarce, Illinois State Police reported that a 50-year-old man from Romeoville was struck by a semi-trailer shortly after midnight sunday on eastbound Interstate 80, just west of Oak Park Avenue, near the amphitheater. Police did not identify the man but said he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tinley Park Fire Department. Several lanes were closed during the examination. Authorities stated the incident is under investigation but is “not classified as a hit and run.” The Will County coroner’s office has not yet commented.
