The Tennessee Titans completed their final trade of the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft by acquiring a first-round pick, a third-round pick, and a fourth-round pick from the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a second-round pick, a third-round pick, and a fifth-round pick, according to the NFL.com trade tracker updated on April 23, 2026.

As part of the deal, the Titans received the 2026 first-round pick (No. 31) from the New England Patriots, along with a 2026 third-round pick (No. 66) and a 2026 fourth-round pick (No. 101). In return, the Bills received the Titans’ 2026 second-round pick (No. 35), a 2026 third-round pick (No. 69) acquired from the Houston Texans through the New York Giants, and a 2026 fifth-round pick (No. 165).

The trade was confirmed as the Titans’ final move during the first day of the 2026 NFL Draft, which began on April 23, 2026, at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. The draft officially started at 8 p.m. ET, with rounds two and three scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET the following day.

The Titans’ acquisition of the 31st overall pick allowed them to select defensive end Keldric Faulk, who was taken at that position in the first round. Faulk, a former Indiana Hoosiers standout, was highlighted in NBC News’ live draft coverage as a key addition to Tennessee’s defense.

The trade was part of a broader wave of first-round activity involving AFC East rivals. Earlier in the evening, the New England Patriots traded with the Buffalo Bills to move up to the 28th overall pick, selecting offensive tackle Caleb Lomu. The Patriots had previously received the 31st overall pick from the Titans, which they then dealt to Buffalo as part of their trade.

The Buffalo Bills, after trading their 28th pick to the Patriots, later acquired that same selection from the Houston Texans in a separate deal. In that trade, the Texans moved up to the 26th overall pick to select guard Keylan Rutledge, sending their 2026 first-round pick (No. 26) and a third-round pick (No. 91) to Buffalo in exchange for the Bills’ 28th pick, a third-round pick (No. 69) from the Giants, and a fifth-round pick (No. 167).

The Miami Dolphins also moved up in the first round, trading with the San Francisco 49ers to secure the 27th overall pick and select cornerback Chris Johnson. The Dolphins gave up their 2026 first-round pick (No. 30) and a fourth-round pick (No. 138) to complete the deal, with the 49ers receiving the 30th pick and a third-round pick (No. 90).

The New York Jets re-entered the first round later in the evening by trading with the 49ers to obtain the 30th overall pick, which had originally come from the Denver Broncos via the Miami Dolphins. The Jets selected wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. At that position, sending a second-round pick (No. 33) and a fifth-round pick (No. 179) to San Francisco.

All trades were conducted in compliance with the NFL’s tampering period rules, which began on March 11, 2026, marking the start of the 2026 league year. The NFL.com trade tracker serves as the official repository for all draft-related transactions made since that date.
