Thiruvananthapuram: The Thrissur Titans have emerged victorious in the Kerala Cricket League, defeating the Kochi Blue Tigers by four wickets. Chasing a target of 85 runs, the Thrissur team successfully reached the target in 17.5 overs, with PK Mithun scoring an unbeaten 23 off 31 balls.
The Kochi Blue Tigers struggled with their batting, losing wickets quickly to the Thrissur bowlers. Opener Anandakrishnan was the only notable performer, scoring 28 runs off 26 balls. The Thrissur bowlers, led by Mohammad Ishaq, restricted the Kochi team to 84 runs in 17 overs. Ishaq took four wickets, conceding just 12 runs in four overs.
The Thrissur team faced a challenging start to their innings, losing two wickets in the first over. However, PK Mithun’s unbeaten 23 helped the team secure a four-wicket victory. Mohammad Ishaq was named the player of the match for his outstanding bowling performance.
