As a result, TNA booked a tag team match for the September 3 episode pairing Brookside and Serrano against Hartwell and Hudson, alongside the newly scheduled singles bout between Hartwell and Serrano.

Serrano previously wrestled in WWE under the ring name Zoey Stark. She joined that promotion in 2021, captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Io Shirai, and experienced a lengthy absence due to torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries before her release following post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts.
