TNA Impact! opened with Joe Hendry addressing fans, expressing gratitude for their support during his recent setbacks, including losing the TNA World Championship to Trick Williams. Hendry said the fans motivate him to continue.
The Hardys, Jeff and Matt, secured a victory over The Northern Armory. Jeff Hardy and Travis Williams started the match. The Hardys then hit their signature Plot Twist on Judas Icarus, followed by JeffS Swanton Bomb for the win.
Following their match, The Hardys praised Leon Slater, predicting he would become the youngest TNA X-Division Champion at Slammiversary. Slater thanked The Hardys and promised to “show out” at Slammiversary, dedicating his performance to his family and fans. He also addressed TNA X-Division Champion Moose, who competed in a triple threat match against Shane Sabre and Jake Painter, winning by pinning Painter after a pop-up powerbomb.
A street fight between Mike santana and AJ Francis saw Santana emerge victorious after a brutal contest involving tables, chairs, and trash cans. Santana hit Spin the Block with a champagne bottle for the win.
After his victory, mike Santana declared his intention to be part of the main event at Slammiversary, demanding a TNA World Championship opportunity. Santana said he is not going to New York to lose.
