Nashville, TN – TNA IMPACT on AMC delivered a night of action from The Pinnacle, highlighted by Elijah’s victory over Mustafa Ali in the first-ever Guitar Case Casket Match. The event, unfolding in the wake of the No Surrender pay-per-view, also saw Indi Hartwell secure a win over Heather by Elegance, and a challenge laid down by Ash by Elegance to Mickie James.

Hartwell Overcomes Elegance Brand Interference

The night began with Indi Hartwell facing Heather by Elegance, accompanied by the full force of The Elegance Brand. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with Hartwell initially gaining momentum with a Side Slam. However, interference from M by Elegance consistently disrupted Hartwell’s rhythm, leading to periods of dominance for Heather. Despite facing relentless pressure and a Moonsault attempt from Heather, Hartwell battled back, breaking free from a Chokehold and delivering a Spinebuster for a near fall. The referee ejected The Elegance Brand from ringside, allowing Hartwell to capitalize with an Elbowdrop to the spine and, finally, Hart’s Donut for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Ash by Elegance issued a direct challenge to Mickie James for a one-on-one contest next week, setting the stage for a potential clash between the two veterans.

Santana and Slater Address Recent Events

TNA World Champion Mike Santana addressed the recent attack by Steve Maclin following No Surrender. Santana expressed his familiarity with Maclin and his desire to address the situation. He then turned his attention to Leon Slater, acknowledging his support at No Surrender and offering an apology for not reciprocating during the event. Slater accepted the apology graciously.

The exchange was interrupted by Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth, who immediately targeted Slater. Santana intervened, defending Slater and highlighting his status as the TNA X-Division Champion. A potential confrontation was brewing, but Director of Operations Daria Rae intervened, scheduling a tag team match for next week featuring Santana and Slater against the Nemeths.

Miguel Retains, Threat Prevails, and Sinner &amp. Saint Triumph

Trey Miguel successfully defended his TNA International Championship against NXT’s Stacks in a hard-fought contest. The match saw both competitors exchange momentum, with Stacks initially gaining an advantage through physicality and attempts to utilize the title belt as a weapon. Miguel, however, rallied with a series of high-flying maneuvers, including a Northern Lights Suplex and a Moonsault, ultimately securing the victory with the Lightning Spiral.

Jody Threat emerged victorious over Tessa Blanchard in a singles match, though the contest ended in disqualification due to interference from Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore of The Diamond Collective. The interference prompted a response from Hudson and Grace, adding another layer to the ongoing rivalry.

In tag team action, Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) defeated BDE & Rich Swann. The match featured a fast-paced exchange of offense, with Sinner & Saint ultimately securing the win with their Total Elimination finisher.

Elijah Claims Victory in Gruesome Casket Match

The main event of the evening saw Elijah and Mustafa Ali compete in the first-ever Guitar Case Casket Match. The match immediately descended into chaos, with Elijah attacking Ali before the bell even rang. The contest quickly escalated, featuring the use of steel chairs, a ukulele, and a mandolin as weapons. Both competitors endured significant punishment, with Elijah targeting Ali’s surgically repaired shoulder and Ali retaliating with a 450 Splash through a table.

Interference from Order 4 played a crucial role in the match’s outcome. Special Agent 0 attempted to place Elijah in the casket, but Elijah fought back, neutralizing the Order 4 members. Ali then gained the upper hand, but a timely intervention from Hotch and Skylar allowed Elijah to recover. Elijah ultimately secured the victory by Chokeslamming Ali through the casket door, closing the chapter in their heated rivalry.

Looking Ahead to Next Week’s IMPACT!

Next week’s episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC promises to be another action-packed show. The card is set to feature a tag team match between TNA World Champion Mike Santana & TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater and Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth, a singles match between Dani Luna and Léi Yǐng Lee, a singles bout between AJ Francis and Mance Warner, the highly anticipated one-on-one clash between Ash by Elegance and Mickie James, a singles match between Jada Stone and Tasha Steelz, and an 8-man tag team match pitting The Hardys & The Righteous against The System. Steve Maclin will be given the opportunity to share his side of the story.
