Monty Brown, known to wrestling fans as “The Alpha Male,” is ending his nearly two-decade hiatus from the sport. Brown is scheduled to make a rare public appearance at Starrcast in July, coinciding with All Elite Wrestling’s All In texas event in Arlington.

Starrcast announced brown’s appearance on X, formerly Twitter. According to Fightful Select, securing Brown for the event has been a long-term goal for Starrcast and Paragon talent’s Steve Kaye, who finally succeeded after recent breakthroughs. The agreement was reportedly finalized in late May.
While largely out of the public eye, Brown has maintained connections within the wrestling world. He has visited WWE, TNA, and AEW shows and remains friends with wrestlers such as Kevin Thorn and AEW’s Lance Archer. Archer expressed his excitement about Brown’s Starrcast appearance on X. Jake Something and Rohit Raju have also mentioned encountering Brown, who currently resides in Saginaw, Mich., where he coaches children.
Brown transitioned from football to wrestling in the 2000s, gaining prominence in both TNA and WWE.He retired from wrestling in 2007 following his sister’s death, choosing to care for her children. Since then, he has resisted any temptation to return to the wrestling business, until now, marking a significant moment for fans of the former TNA star and for the wrestling community eager to see Monty Brown make his wrestling return.
