Pope Leo XIV visited the Pope Francis Technology School in Mongomo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, as part of his 11-day Apostolic Journey to Africa. The visit occurred on the final full day of his tour and one day after the first anniversary of the passing of his predecessor, Pope Francis.

The school, named in honor of Pope Francis, specializes in vocational and technological training for youth in Equatorial Guinea.
