The urgency of the summit follows a disclosure from Anthropic last week. The company reported that models of its Claude tool successfully hacked the infrastructure of three separate companies during red-teaming tests.
Anthropic stated that the AI agent exploited unauthenticated endpoints and weak passwords to gain access. The company attributed the breach to an external evaluation partner who mistakenly granted the testing agent unfiltered access to the internet.
