Togg Safety Test: Euro NCAP Exceeds BMW & Toyota
Togg electric Vehicles Achieve High Safety ratings in Euro NCAP Tests
Turkey’s automotive industry, established for decades through licensed assembly of Western models, has taken a significant step forward with the emergence of Togg, a domestic car manufacturer. Early Turkish-built cars included the Renault 12, produced similarly to the Romanian Dacia 1310 (Renault 12 Bulls), and the Tofaş Murat 124, a localized version of the Fiat 124 (Tofaş Murat 124).
While established international manufacturers like Renault, Toyota, Fiat, and Mercedes-Benz continue to operate factories in Turkey, Togg was founded in 2018 and has recently begun releasing it’s first all-electric models: the T10x and T10F.
Recent testing by Euro NCAP has revealed extraordinary safety performance for both Togg models. According to the announcement, the T10x and T10F achieved higher safety scores than comparable BMW and Toyota vehicles tested in the same series of evaluations.
