Freedom Togo-Mouvement de Libération Nationale Announces Political Start
Freedom Togo-Mouvement de Libération Nationale is set to publicly disclose the progress of its activities, marking a significant step towards achieving its objectives. This milestone will be announced on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Paris, through a highly anticipated political start.
In a press release dated November 1, 2024, the President of Togo Freedom – the National Liberation Movement (Togo Freedom – MLN) informed the Togolese people and all ”Friends of Togo” that the movement will make its first political start on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 8 pm GMT (9:00 pm, Paris time), via video conference.
The chosen theme for this inaugural event is “The new political face of the Togolese Diaspora in the struggle for national liberation”. This theme highlights the movement’s commitment to promoting a new era of political engagement and activism within the Togolese diaspora.
To facilitate real-time participation, a Zoom connection link has been established, allowing Togolese citizens and interested parties to join the event from 7:30 pm GMT.
Freedom Togo – National Liberation Movement is an initiative founded by three prominent figures from the Togolese diaspora: politician Koffi Yamgnane, businessman Jean-Sylvanus Olympio, and former Interior Minister and lawyer Me François Akila-Esso Boko. The movement was launched on July 20, 2024, in response to the unilateral constitutional change made by the RPT/UNIR regime.
