Sandoval and his band, The Most Extras, appeared on Tuesday’s episode of America’s Got Talent, hoping to impress the judges with their cover band act.The audition comes after Sandoval faced intense public scrutiny following the “Scandoval” cheating scandal in May 2023.
Before the performance, Sandoval addressed the scandal, acknowledging the “bad choices” that led to widespread criticism. He told the audience and judges that music, specifically his band, helped him through a difficult period. “It was really, really rough, and I was in a very, very dark place,” sandoval said. “I felt as tho I had nothing in my life, and this band was the only thing that kept me going.”
