the death has taken place on September 4th, 2024, at woodmount Care Home of Tommy Barr, of 2 Mountcarmel View, strabane.
Mr. Barr was the beloved husband of the late Nellie,and a much-loved father to Noel,Liam,Imelda,Teresina,and Thomas.He was predeceased by his son, Kieran, and is survived by his siblings, Eileen and Andrew, and the late Billy.
Funeral Details
Reposing at his home on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, from 4 p.m.
The funeral will commence from his home on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at 2:20 p.m. for Requiem Mass in St. MaryS Church, Melmount, at 3 p.m. The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed via the Parish Webcam.
Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Sympathy and Donations
Mr. Barr is deeply regretted by his surviving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brother, sister, and wider family circle.
The family has requested that,in lieu of flowers,donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society c/o Quigley Funeral Directors,located at 1A Newtown Place,Strabane.

Family time will be observed from 10 p.m. to 11 a.m. daily,and on the morning of the funeral.
