Jakarta, CNBC indonesia - Foreign investors recorded significant net sales on yesterday’s trading, Wednesday (January 28, 2026), with the largest pressure occurring on large-cap stocks.
Based on market data, foreign investors recorded a jumbo net sell of Rp 6.17 trillion. Foreign investors recorded purchases worth Rp 14.76 trillion and sales of Rp 20.93 trillion.
Banking stocks became the target of foreign sales, notably Bank Central Asia (BBCA). This bank, owned by Djarum, experienced the largest foreign net sell, reaching Rp 4.15 trillion, along with foreign sales reaching Rp 6.23 trillion and purchase values of Rp 2.09 trillion. The large outflow of foreign funds in BBCA put pressure on the stock price to its lowest level as July 2022.
Outside of banking, shares of Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) also experienced a net foreign sell of Rp 564.5 billion, followed by Antam (ANTM) which was sold by foreigners for Rp 314.3 billion. Pressure was also seen on
