Top 5 Most Valuable Latin American Brands in 2026 – Corona Leads

Corona Remains Latin America’s ‍Most Valuable Brand in 2026

Mexican beer brand Corona continues to lead Latin American companies in brand value, according to the​ Brand Finance Global 500 2026 report. The ranking, now in its 20th edition, places Corona as the top brand from the region for the second ‍consecutive year.

Corona ranks 181st globally, a ​six-position enhancement from 2025.Brand Finance valued‍ the⁢ brand at⁣ $13.355 billion as of August 2025. Founded in 1925, Corona’s consistent growth solidifies its ‌position as a ‌leading ⁤international ​brand.

Brazil’s Itaú‍ bank secured‍ the second-highest ranking among Latin American brands, landing at 254th ‌overall.⁣ The bank jumped ‌20⁢ places in the last year and is​ the sole Brazilian brand featured in the Global 500. Itaú, established in 1945 and formed through a 2008 merger⁢ with Unibanco, is now the largest bank‍ in the region, serving over 70 million customers and ‍boasting a ​brand value of $8.334 billion as of mid-2025.

Mexico also claimed‍ the third spot with Modelo especial, another beer brand from Grupo Modelo, the original manufacturer of Corona. Grupo Modelo, founded in 1925, maintains a presence ‌in​ 18 countries.

The Brand Finance Global 500 2026 features‍ 192 brands from⁣ the United States and 68 from China, demonstrating the continued‍ dominance of these markets.
