Top 7 Acts of Friday ESNS26
- Curtisy (IE): His hip-hop, full of muted, jazzy loops, doesn't really *need* much, but with only twenty-seven subdued spectators in a venue that could hold four hundred?
- Snuggle (DK): Melancholy dreampop you don't remember upon waking, and shoegaze without any bite.
- (IE): Given the size of the cameras eagerly diving *into* Basht.'s guitar, one hopes to witness the next U2 today.

Snuggle (DK): Melancholy dreampop you don’t remember upon waking, and shoegaze without any bite. Too bland to reach past teh first three rows.
Basht. (IE): Given the size of the cameras eagerly diving *into* Basht.’s guitar, one hopes to witness the next U2 today. But Basht. is more like Inhaler, only with even less memorable songs. they don’t recover from a false start with a broken bass amplifier.

Clara Kimera (FR): Remember how fun the French synth-pop act Agar Agar was at ESNS 2018? That’s how mediocre the hyperpop rap solo project of the singer is.
Officer John (IE): Cool how Officer John pulls chopped drumbeats from a sampler, but these shoegazey guys sing *terribly*,and that squealing feedback doesn’t do anyone any good. Cigarettes without Sex.
future Utopia (GB-ENG): Fraser T. Smith and his singer clearly crave connection, but there’s a huge gap between them, ostensibly to offer a view of the drummer playing in a glass villa.
