Among the top prospects is five-star all-purpose back Derrek ‍Cooper from Hollywood, fla. According to⁣ recruiting expert Adam Gorney, Cooper recently visited Auburn and plans to visit Miami, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State. Texas is also vying for a visit. Miami⁤ may have a slight edge,Gorney said,despite Jeremiah Smith’s success at Ohio ⁢State⁤ and Georgia’s continued interest.

Shekai Lindsey Crowell, a four-star running back from Jackson, Ala., is expected to ⁢commit to ​Alabama⁢ on June 26.Despite efforts from⁢ Texas and Auburn,the Crimson tide have been⁤ the front-runner,gorney⁤ noted. Crowell reclassified from 2027 to 2026, further solidifying alabama’s lead.

Javian Edwards, a four-star running back from Carthage, Texas, is drawing meaningful interest. While Texas remains the favorite, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M ‍are in contention.Gorney noted that Edwards’ relationship wiht⁤ Texas running backs coach Chad Scott strengthens the Longhorns’ position.

Jeff Overton hiter from Mineral, Va., is seeing a surge in interest from Tennessee. While Michigan was previously the front-runner, Tennessee is gaining momentum, with‍ Ohio State also in the mix, Gorney reported.

Ousmane Kromah Lamar⁢ from Moultrie, Ga.,is heavily favored ‍to land at Georgia. ‍despite‌ interest from Auburn, Florida State and Clemson, Georgia’s long-standing priority and coach Josh Crawford’s connection to Colquitt County give the Bulldogs an edge, Gorney said.
