When I went to the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis 2024, I enjoyed the tournament in addition to the matches, so I would like to introduce that to you this time.

Pickleball experience

At this venue, an event titled “Pickleball Park in Toray PPO Tennis” is being held where you can experience the emerging sport “pickleball”, which is rapidly growing around the world. There was also an open court, and everyone enjoyed playing pickleball.
It’s so popular that there’s a long line!

I also took the opportunity to try out some pickleball! !
I was excited because it was my first time hitting a ball with a paddle…

The ball is slightly larger than a tennis ball and made of plastic.
It had many holes and was lightweight.
The strike out was successful and I was able to receive a sticker. I’m so happy!

This time I had a small experience and suddenly I wanted to try pickleball.

Lie down and have a relaxing time

After playing pickleball, take a break on the chairs in the dining area.
There are some areas where you can lie down comfortably, and we recommend watching the game on the screen with a drink in hand.
This time too, there are plenty of kitchen cars, so which one should I choose? I was worried.

There are many photo spots at this tournament as well. I’ve been there too.

First of all, with the tournament monument right after entering the familiar entrance.
It’s cute that the second P is filled with balls.

Next is the official shop. The racket that can be seen on the left side is also available as an item.
I was really looking forward to seeing Osaka’s dynamic play again, so I was very disappointed that she wasn’t there, but you can take a photo with her here.

A photo spot is also available at the nearby Yonex booth.
Of course we also have super big rackets! As always, I chose my current companion, EZONE.
The all-over yellow color is refreshing and makes you feel excited!

The tournament continues.
