Tori Spelling and seven children were transported to a hospital after a car accident in Temecula, California, on April 2, 2026. The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor was driving her vehicle when the collision occurred.

A spokesperson for Spelling confirmed to NBC News that the actor was traveling with four of her own children and three of their friends at the time of the crash. The group was involved in a collision with another vehicle in the Southern California city, located approximately 85 miles east of Los Angeles.

The accident allegedly occurred after another driver ran a red light while speeding and struck Spelling’s SUV. Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where they found two vehicles with collision damage.

Emergency Response and Injuries

Upon arrival, authorities evaluated all occupants at the scene. Spelling and the seven children were subsequently transported to the hospital via three ambulances for medical treatment.

According to reporting from TMZ, the individuals were treated for a range of injuries, including cuts, bruises, contusions, concussions and other injuries.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office stated that no arrests were made at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by law enforcement.

Video footage obtained by TMZ showed Spelling speaking animatedly with first responders as she described the moments leading up to the accident.

Photos published by the outlet indicated that Spelling’s SUV sustained less damage than the other vehicle involved. While the other car appeared to have severe front-end damage, the SUV was reported to be missing parts of its bumper, lights, and undercarriage.

Tori Spelling, 52, shares five children with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott. Her children are currently between the ages of 9 and 19.

This is not the first time the actor has been involved in a vehicle accident while traveling with her children.
