The highly anticipated LaLiga match between Valencia and Real Madrid has been postponed due to the severe flooding in Spain. The match was initially scheduled to take place in Valencia on Saturday, but the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced on Thursday that all matches in the Valencia region will be rescheduled at the request of LaLiga.

In addition to the Valencia and Real Madrid match, Saturday’s LaLiga match between Villa Real and Rayo Vallecano was also postponed, along with Levante’s second division home game against Malaga on Monday.
LaLiga and the participating clubs have announced plans to raise funds for the Red Cross to support those affected by the floods. Real Madrid has pledged to partner with the Red Cross and donate one million euros ($1.09 million) to aid in the relief efforts. Two Liga F matches, including Real Madrid’s match against Levante, have also been cancelled.
