Towerborne, a side-scrolling beat ’em up with role-playing elements, has a firm release ‌date. The game will leave early access and launch in its full version on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and playstation 5 on February ​26, 2026. The proclamation came from publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer stoic. The standard‍ edition will cost $24.99, and the⁤ Deluxe Edition ​will be priced at $29.99. it will also be available through Game Pass.

Towerborne first launched into Early Access on PC via Steam on September 10, 2024, followed by a Game Preview release for Xbox Series X and S and PC through the Microsoft Store⁢ on April 29,⁣ 2025. The PlayStation 5 version was announced shortly after.

Version 1.0 Features

In version 1.0, the story has been updated and completed, featuring a full narrative arc including a main antagonist, new side quests, and a wholly revamped‍ Bounty Board.

Towerborne has also ⁤been visually overhauled.

Two new bosses have ‍been ‍added, including a major final⁢ boss, along with lieutenants ‍and new Umbra enemies.
