This agreement focuses on the joint development of solid-state batteries to improve both charging speeds and overall autonomy.
The partnership between Factorial and SK On represents a collaborative effort to scale the production of these batteries. According to FCE, the goal of these “battery giants” is to move the technology from laboratory prototypes to viable mass-market automotive applications, mirroring the shift Toyota is attempting to execute by 2027.
