Tractors Banned: Farmers’ Anger and Government Response

Despite‍ attempts to address farmer discontent initiated by Sébastien Lecornu, the government has intensified the situation. The catalyst? Not⁤ only were meetings held at Matignon unsuccessful, but several prefectures also decided ​to prohibit the movement of tractor convoys and agricultural machinery on major roads until Thursday, January⁤ 8.
