Tradition Minister mourns literary criticism professor Somaya Ramadan – Egypt Information

The Minister of Tradition, Dr. Ahmed Fuad Hanno, has mourned Dr. Somaya Ramadan, tutorial, author, translator and professor of literary criticism on the Greater Institute of Artwork Criticism, Dr. Somaya Ramadan, who handed away yesterday night on Monday.

Details about Somaya Ramadan

Dr. Somaya Ramadan was born in 1951 in Cairo. He studied English at Cairo College, then obtained a doctorate in English from Trinity School, Dublin in 1983. He served as Head of the Division of Literary Criticism on the former Greater Institute of Artwork Criticism. on the Academies of Arts in Cairo and Alexandria.

His works embrace “Wooden and Copper”, a set of brief tales, “Homes of the Moon”, a set of brief tales and the novel “Daffodil Leaves” for which he received the Naguib Mahfouz Award for Arabic Fiction, American College in 2001. His translations embrace Virginia Woolf’s “A Home of One’s Personal.”
