Traffic Alert: I-275 Ramp Closure in St. Petersburg

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida

A portion of Interstate 275 will be closed for construction. The southbound I-275 ramp to 22nd Avenue South (Exit 19) will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26.

Detour Information:
During the closures, drivers on southbound I-275 must exit at Exit 21 (28th Street South) and follow a detour to reach 22nd Avenue South. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be in place to assist drivers.

This closure is part of a larger project to repair concrete pavement on I-275 between 54th Avenue South and 5th Avenue South. The entire project should be completed in early 2026.
