Trafford Returns to Manchester City, felix Seals Al-Nassr Move
Manchester City has confirmed the permanent return of goalkeeper James Trafford, while Joao Felix has completed a move from Chelsea to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

James Trafford has officially rejoined Manchester City, signing a new contract with the club he joined as a youngster. the 21-year-old goalkeeper, who wore the number one shirt during his loan spell at Burnley, expressed his delight at returning to the Etihad Stadium.”It feels amazing to be back,” Trafford stated. “Manchester City is a special football club with fantastic people who make it such a unique place to work and play.”
Trafford, who was part of City’s academy since 2015, spent time on loan at Accrington and Bolton before his triumphant spell at Turf Moor. He sees his return as the culmination of his development. “When I had the chance to go to Burnley I thought it was the right step for me in that moment and in the long-term it was to achieve to come back here. I’m happy that I’ve achieved it.”
He is eager to learn from and compete with the club’s established number one, Ederson. “I am also very excited and honoured to have been given the opportunity to work under Pep and with such a world-class group of players,” Trafford added. “I am still very young and hungry to keep learning and improving – and I know there is no better habitat than Manchester City to help make me become the best goalkeeper I can be.”
Trafford becomes City’s sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders, Marcus Bettinelli, Rayan Cherki, and Sverre Nypan.

Felix departs Chelsea for Saudi Stardom
Joao Felix has ended his time at Chelsea, making a permanent switch to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr. The Portuguese international, who joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid last summer, spent the first half of the season at Stamford Bridge before moving to AC Milan on loan in January.
Felix made 20 appearances for Chelsea, starting just three Premier League games, and his departure marks the end of his second spell with the London club. “We thank Joao for his efforts across his two spells at the club and wish him well for the future,” Chelsea said in a statement.
The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr, with reports suggesting an initial transfer fee of €30m, potentially rising to €50m with add-ons. Felix will link up with his Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at his new club.Upon his arrival, Felix expressed his excitement: “I am here to spread joy. Let’s win together.”
