Tragedy at Sea: Luxurious Yacht Capsizes in Storm off Sicily, One Confirmed Useless and Seven Lacking

Sicily: A luxurious yacht carrying a bunch of twenty-two members capsized in a robust storm off the coast of Italy’s Sicily, leaving seven individuals lacking. One dying has been confirmed. Eight individuals, together with a one-year-old baby, had been rescued.

One crew member and 6 passengers are lacking. They’re British, American and Canadian residents. The media mentioned that those that had been rescued are being handled in hospital and their well being situation is passable.

Italian media reported that the luxurious yacht had sunk within the sea off the coast of the Sicilian capital, Palermo. The 184-foot (56-metre) yacht with a British registration was concerned within the accident.

The vessel, which had set sail from the Sicilian port of Milasso on August 14, was final tracked east of Palermo on the 18th. At the moment the yacht was at anchor.

The luxurious yacht ‘Bayesian’ was inbuilt 2008 by the Italian shipbuilder Perini. The yacht can journey at a pace of 15 nautical miles and might maintain 12 company and greater than 10 crew members.
