Anthony Wicks, a 46-year-old teacher, was taken into custody in New York, facing accusations of choking a 5-year-old student on Monday, September 9, under circumstances that have yet to be disclosed.
The incident took place at Adam Clayton Powell Jr.’s PS 153 school, located in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of Manhattan.
Fortunately, the victim is expected to survive the injuries sustained and is currently receiving medical attention in the hospital.
