A devastating incident has shaken the tight-knit community of Faulconbridge in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, after two young brothers were found dead at their home. The boys’ father, Nick Smith, made the tragic discovery on Tuesday afternoon after being unable to contact the boys’ mother, his former partner.

NSW Police Superintendent John Nelson described the incident as one of the most tragic he has ever had to deal with. “This is a very peaceful and community-oriented environment, and this incident will have a huge impact on the community,” he said.
The brothers attended school on the 9th, and police are currently investigating their movements. The police spokesperson confirmed that no other suspects are being sought in the investigation.
