Tragedy Strikes: Renowned Keelung Mining Hospital Director Li Qingfu Loses Battle to Sudden Heart Attack at 70

On the 26th, Keelung Badu Miners Hospital director Li Qingfu was shocked to hear of the sudden death of a suspected myocardial infarction while resting, and was pronounced dead 2 hours after being rescued by medical personnel, surviving at the age of 70.

The hospital said that President Li Qingfu went to the intensive care center for urgent treatment of a patient at 2:30 pm on the 26th, after which Li Qingfu rested on an empty bed in the ward due to unexpected dizziness. At 15 o’clock, Li Qingfu suffered a seizure and was quickly sent to the intensive care unit by the doctor in the room, but after an electric shock and cardiac injection, he was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m., about 2 hours later. Since Li Qingfu’s family members have been living in Australia for a long time, the hospital informed them in advance to handle follow-up matters.

Li Qingfu came to Keelung Badu Miners Hospital from National Taiwan University Hospital in 1969, and for 44 years he was the only one in his family who lived in Taiwan, and sometimes the hospital needed help. At night, he would go back to the hospital from Xindian to help. Recently, he was well in Keelung City. Honored as representative of people and good works. Originally, Li Qingfu was going to represent Keelung in the National Good People and Good Deeds Representative Event, now something unfortunately happened, all the staff of Miner Hospital are deeply saddened.
