Tragic Heart Attack Claims Life of 14-Year-Old During School Practice in Aligarh
A 14-year-old boy named Mohit Chaudhary died of a heart attack while practicing for a school sports event in Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on Friday in Sirauli village. After running two rounds with friends, Mohit suddenly collapsed. His friends alerted his family, who rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. The school competition was scheduled for December 7.
Mohit’s family faced tragedy earlier this year when his father died in a road accident. This incident follows a similar case in Aligarh, where a 20-year-old girl named Mamata also suffered a heart attack while running last month. In the past 25 days, at least three other individuals in Aligarh have experienced cardiac arrests, including an eight-year-old girl playing in Lodhi Nagar and a doctor who died preparing for work. Notably, on November 20, Syed Barkat Haider, the son of a former Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, died from a heart attack.
Recent months have seen an increase in heart attacks among young people. In September, a 9-year-old girl in Lucknow died while playing at school after collapsing on the playground.
