Bryar’s body was found in his Tennessee home on November 26, two days before Thanksgiving. Law enforcement suspects no foul play, as his belongings, including music gear and weapons, were not disturbed. The musician’s body was described as “badly decomposed.”

Animal Control arrived and removed two dogs from the house after the body was discovered. Reports indicate that Bryar was last seen alive on November 4. His cause of death is still under investigation.

Bryar was a drummer in My Chemical Romance from 2004 to 2010, replacing Matt Pelisser after the band’s 2004 album “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.” He played on many of their biggest hits, including “Welcome to the Black Parade.”
