Porto Expresses Anger Over Failed Transfer of Henderson Gallino to Al-Ittihad

Portuguese football club Porto has expressed its strong dissatisfaction with the outcome of negotiations regarding the transfer of Brazilian striker Henderson Gallino to Al-Ittihad Football Club’s first team.

Porto announced its disappointment in an official statement on Tuesday morning, revealing that it will send formal letters to the president of the federation and the president of the Saudi Professional League to express its position.

Despite the failed transfer, Porto expressed its delight at Gallino’s decision to stay with the club. The team emphasized its confidence in the 26-year-old’s abilities and his motivation to continue his performances with the team.

Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad signed Dutch striker Steven Bergwijn, 26, from Ajax Amsterdam on transfer deadline day. Gallino, who has played one match for Brazil’s national team, is a top player in the Portuguese Premier League and represents former Champions League champions Porto.
