Jeonju City Facilities Corporation Chairman Koo Dae-sik Ends Term on a High Note
Jeonju City Facilities Corporation (Chairman Koo Dae-sik) is concluding its term by promoting the ‘RE-Mail Campaign’ as part of the ‘RE12 Project.’
Chairman Koo Dae-sik has had a distinguished career, starting out as a journalist at the Jeonbuk Ilbo and local media outlets. He then served as the Jeonju City Public Relations Manager before being selected as the Chairman of Jeonju Facilities Corporation.
During his tenure, Chairman Koo successfully led various sports facilities in Jeonju City, including soccer, futsal, tennis, World Cup golf, Wansan/Deokjin Swimming Pool, World Cup Stadium, ice skating rink, inline roller skating rink, horseback riding track, bicycle racing track, and gateball-only field. His leadership was marked by a lack of conflict and a strong focus on safety.
Chairman Koo is particularly remembered for fostering a sense of camaraderie and harmony among employees through open communication. Under his leadership, the majority of facility managers received recognition and certification for their commitment to safety.
As he concludes his term, Chairman Koo Dae-sik remains humble, saying ”How can you say I did well?” His legacy, however, speaks for itself.
