The Jacksonville Jaguars made a bold move in the 2025 NFL Draft, trading with the Cleveland Browns to secure Travis Hunter, the Heisman Trophy winner, as the No. 2 overall pick. Hunter, a standout at Colorado as both a wide receiver and cornerback, now faces the challenge of balancing both positions in the NFL.

“We built a plan and then sat him down and really talked through it,” Coen said. “How dose he learn? What is the best ways that he learns? We did gain some of that details throughout the draft process, but when you actually sit down with him and get a feeling, ‘Well, he likes to walk-through more than sit in a meeting-room setting, so let’s do more walk-throughs.'”
During the last season, Hunter demonstrated his versatility by playing 713 offensive snaps and 748 defensive snaps. He also won the Biletnikoff Award and was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. His stats included 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense, along with 36 tackles, 11 passes defended, and four interceptions on defense.
