The 21,140-square-foot Gilded Age estate sits on 3.5 acres along Lake Erie and features eight bedrooms, a home theater, and a pool, adding to a combined real estate portfolio that has reached double digits. Built in 1895 and freshly renovated prior to the sale, the Cuyahoga County property initially listed for $5.99 million before closing below asking price, according to listing records cited by the Wall Street Journal. David Ayers, who brokered the deal alongside Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland, told the New York Post that the estate blends historic architecture with modern upgrades.

The estate’s location near a private airstrip offers logistical convenience for a couple managing extensive property portfolios across multiple states. Taylor Swift brought a collection of homes into the marriage that includes properties in Manhattan, Rhode Island, Nashville, and California, alongside Kelce’s established residence in Kansas City.
High-Profile New York City Wedding at Madison Square Garden
The Ohio real estate purchase preceded a two-day wedding celebration held on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. A representative for Taylor Swift confirmed to ABC News that the ceremony was officiated by actor and comedian Adam Sandler, with Swift’s brother Austin serving as man of honor and Kelce’s brother Jason serving as best man.
The private event drew more than 1,000 guests from the music, film, and sports industries. Speaking at a press conference on July 30, 2026, following a Kansas City Chiefs training camp practice at Missouri Western State University, Kelce described the venue choice as fulfilling a childhood ambition.

It’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, you know, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.

Kelce also expressed gratitude to the owners of Madison Square Garden for accommodating their request for privacy, adding that the air conditioning was a welcome feature during the July celebration.
NFL Return and Recent Public Appearances
The summer nuptials and real estate acquisition coincide with Kelce’s return to the Kansas City Chiefs for his 14th NFL season, following a career that includes 11 straight Pro Bowl appearances from 2015 to 2025, over 13,000 receiving yards, and 82 touchdowns. News of his decision to return for the 2026 season first emerged in March prior to his confirmation on The Pat McAfee Show.
Outside of sports and real estate, the couple recently introduced a Samoyed puppy, reportedly named Wendy, who debuted in a Tommy Hilfiger campaign shoot on the roof of the Plaza Hotel in New York. Kelce told Vogue that the brand needed a dog for the shoot and that he volunteered the puppy, noting that she fit the aesthetic and brought positivity to his daily routine.
